You’re finally home

The exhibitions consists of two video works (“You’re finally home” and” Astor’s playing”) They both explore our relationships to places – both imaginary and tangible and ask questions about security, control and the connection to evanescence. The two works are based on a mixture of memory and fantasy and illustrate the sense of alienation and a feeling of being disconnect to “real life”.

By projecting images in spaces—as an abandoned home —a dialogue emerges between what was and what is. The images, like memories, hover over wallpaper. The images are not just something we observe, but something that shapes our spaces and movements.
